Joanna is a world traveler, having visited every continent and over 47 countries. She is a successful small business owner and as such, a professional photographer with 27 years in business. Her philanthropy extends to our military families where she photographs the families of the men and women protecting our country, at military bases across the US. Seven years ago, Rudy Shaffer, founder of Water 4 Life Ministry contacted Joanna after reading about her involvement with several nonprofits working with NGO’s in Kenya and Tanzania. Joanna got involved with Water 4 Life Ministry almost immediately and now donation of her time and talents to Water 4 Life has become her passion. Her main focus has become one of bringing clean water to those children who would otherwise continue to drink contaminated water, with the seemingly obvious consequences of illness and/or death. Her goal is to reach as many of those in need as physically and monetarily as possible.

As a portraitist for 4 decades, Abbey’s professional focus was as the family historian for countless families. In 2007, Abbey created Hearts That Care, to provide free portraits to families who had a child in hospice.. Continuing with Women in Creative Photography Gives Back, she is active in philanthropy. When Abbey was introduced to Water4Life in 2013, she became an ardent supporter and ambassador. Precious children deserve to have health and love, and not get sick from their drinking water. She recently joined the team as Director of Special Events.

My name is Clifford Yantz and I’m very happy to be part of this wonderful Ministry. I have performed hydrogeologic investigations at over a 100 sites and specialize in the review and interpretation of hydrogeological data to determine groundwater flow characteristics and have designed or helped design over three dozen groundwater extraction systems. I have installed hundreds of wells and used groundwater flow models to evaluate hydrogeological resources and design groundwater extraction systems. I’m excited to go to Kenya again and drilling wells for W4LM.
