Special Children's Medical fund!
Special Children’s medical fund!
Hello, my caring friends. On April 23, 2026, our amazing partner, Thania, at the dump in Guatemala contacted me after attending the funeral of the precious 2 year old girl you see below, Samantha. She shared the heartbreaking news that Samantha became very sick but her mother did not have the $30 needed to take her to the doctor, let alone the additional $60 dollars for medicine. Over the next two weeks, Samantha’s condition worsened as mucus built up in her lungs. Tragically, this beautiful little girl passed away.
Thania went on to tell me that tragedies like this happen far too often at the dump simply because mothers have no money for medical care. As she shared this heartbreaking reality, I truly felt God placing it on my heart: “Rudy, you need to make sure this does not happen again to another helpless baby or child at the dump.”
I immediately sent Thania money to begin a new medical fund. Now, when mothers contact her because their children are sick, she will personally assess each situation, schedule doctor appointments, and cover the costs for visits, tests, and any medicines the children may need.
Our goal is to raise $5000 for our new Children’s Medical Fund by May 31. Every dollar will go directly toward providing doctor visits, medical tests, and life-saving medicines for the children at the dump whose families otherwise could not afford this care. Thania will be distributing flyers to over 200 families caring for more than 500 children at the dump so they will know to contact her whenever their children become seriously ill and need help.
I am praying with all my heart that God will touch your heart deeply, just as He touched mine, to help us raise the initial $5000 needed to establish this critical Children’s Medical Fund for the children at the dump.
Please consider making a one-time or monthly donation to help support this fund in the years to come. Thank you for caring, praying, and being the hands and feet of Jesus to these families in need. May God richly bless you for your compassion and generosity.
